Mattia has a longstanding 15 years’ experience in the Artworld, both in public and private environment in London and Milan. Currently he manages a number of high-profile collections and works closely with artists and institutions alike.
He held the position of Head of Sales for MutualArt and APT collection, worked for commercial galleries and foundations and led the MA in Contemporary Art Markets run by IESA (Institut d’Etudes Supérieures des Arts) and the University of Warwick. In Milan he started off working with Fondazione la Triennale di Milano, home of the first Italian design museum. Mattia is a visiting lecturer for Kingston University, Università Bocconi, Accademia di Brera and IESA.
He holds an MA in Philosophy from Università Cattolica, Milan and an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, London.
